When you are starting, frequently you’re working without results. This is the case with my podcast. I’ve been told to not look at my numbers for several months as there is a gestation period of about 4 to6 months before things start moving in the right direction. Now just like others, I look at the numbers and quite frankly they have not been good or anything near what I want them to be.
On the other hand, there is this feeling that I have that I am at a tipping point. Maybe it’s because there is an increased level of activity surrounding my podcast and me with people asking to be on my podcast and asking me to be a guest. Those are the facts of my feelings.
This would not have happened without me being out there working and continuing to produce without immediate results.
I’ve been to several Tony Robbins seminars and follow Gary Vaynerchuk, both say the same thing. In essence, people overestimate what they could do in one year and underestimate what they can do in five.
That is if they continue to press forward and not stop.
